I highly recommend Dr. Guy Efron in Beverly Hills. He was recommended to me by a friend and he's fantastic.
Our son is turning 1 this weekend, and I am 7 months pregnant with our 2nd boy.
We are not thrilled with our pediatrician, and are looking for a new one, preferably affilliated with Cedars.
Does anyone go to Beverly Hills Pediatrices (Bess Raker, and Scott Cohen)? or Julia White or Peter Waldstein?
Or any great suggestions for the Beverly Hills/West LA area?

Dr. Aviva Biederman at Ceders is awesome...
We take our 7 month old to Vicki Shimoyama at Cedars Med Group on Wilshire and La Cienega. We have since she was born and we love her. I've been to several of the other doctors in the practice when we needed to take her in and called that day and they are all great but Shimoyama is definitely our favorite.
Hi, my daughter sees Dr. Hassouri in the Cedars Med Group on Wilshire she is a great pediatrician i would recommend her to everyone ###-###-####
good Luck :)
I love Dr. Diamond at La Peer pediatrics. Offices are on Wilshire and La Peer. Cedars is their hospital. They were excellent in the hospital after my daughter was born and followed up every day. I also like Dr. Nagel and their entire nursing staff. They are open on Saturday and actually call you back very quickly and schedule appointments same day. They have separate entrances for well and sick patients. Good luck!
When my son was born at cedars Dr. Guy Efron visited him and checked him out. He came back several times and was very easy to talk to and very kind with the baby. We wanted to use him as our pediatrician full time because we liked him so much, but we live in the South Bay and it is too far.
Good luck!
I hear wonderful things about bess raked!!
I take both of my boys to Scott Cohen, but have seen Dr. Raker a few times as well. I love them both. I only chose Dr. Cohen over Raker because I thought it would be better for the boys to have a male pediatrician (I really don't know if it makes a difference, but may in the future?).
The office staff are great, we never have to wait and Dr. Cohen is patient, informative, practical...
They are a busy practice so you have to schedule your well child visits in advance, we usually just schedule 2 or 3 visits at once to avoid a problem.
They have just started charging an annual fee to cover certain costs that aren't reimbursed through insurance (I'm sure the office can explain), but I think most pediatrician's are doing that now.
I think they have group interviews for new patients if you want to meet the doctors before you deliver.
I highly recommend them.
Congratulations!
