I live in the Heights and am looking for a mom's group/playgroup to participate in. I've heard of the Heights Mothers's Group, but don't know how to contact them for info. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Or, if you know of any other groups in the area, I'm open to suggestions.

Try the local library in your area! They usually have family playgroups there. Hope this helps!
One of my girlfriends is a member of the Heights Mother's Group. I emailed her about joining this group. Here is her response. "Usually you join by getting invited to an event by an existing member (like me!), then requesting membership from one of the group moderators. You can tell this person to contact me if she'd like to attend an event."

I'm not sure about the Heights Mothers Group, but on Wednesdays at 11am a bunch of moms meet at Proctor Park (803 W. Temple). Sometimes there are things for the kids to do inside the community center at the park (story time, crafts, a move-with-me type class ($5/class), etc.), but normally we spend most of our time at the park which has a lots of shade.
