Hi everyone! My husband and I are moving to the Wilmington area mid-pregnancy and I need to find an OB quick! Does anyone have someone they have had a great experience with?? Or any practices I should stay away from? Any recommendations will be helpful!

If you don't mind a little ride then try Brunswick womens center in supply. I have a 6 week old and saw Dr. Swaim throughout my pregnancy and he was great. Dr. Larry Wilson, who also works there, ended up delivering my daughter, and I loved him too. Hope this helps.
I live in Wilmington and I know you will love it here! I am 8 months pregnant. I go to cape Fear obgyn. They have 5 ob's and they are all very nice and very professional. This is my first child, and they have helped me with so much. you will meet with all of them and get to know them well. They stay pretty busy, so sometimes its hard to get in. I hope this helps.
I have an 11 month old and I go to Carolina OB/GYN also. I started out with the OB doctors there but switched to the midwives. The doctors were good but I had a 1/7 chance of getting my doctor for delivery. There were only 2 midwives (3 now, I think). I could not have asked for a more personal experience. Both my husband and I agreed that it was a great experience. I would recommend Carolina but have heard great things about Glen Meade, too! Good luck!
I go to Carolina OB/GYN and LOVE them. Dr. Laura McKain delivered my first daughter and I am currently seeing her for my current pregnancy. Any of the OB's there though are great.
Dr Rachel Jones of Glen Meade is a great OB. I am actually an OB resident in the area, and can speak highly of most of the physicians in either Glen Meade or Carolina Ob/Gyn. Let me know if you have any more questions, and good luck!
