Jean Burke at www.collegeprepgenius.com. Her fee's are $100. You can check the site where classes are, but many times she will come to your area if there are a number of people interested in the class.
I know! It's so expensive! My husband is taking a class for the GMAT and its twice that! He better do way better this next time he takes it. Have your daughter take the PSAT to see how much improvement you think she 'needs'. The classes carry a certain number of points guarantee, so see if the scholarship benefits of the higher score are worth the money. There are several books you can get and online tutorials and tutors, but the tutors run about $100 an hour and none of the above have the satisfaction guarantee you get from a prep class. Weigh your options carefully, but remember that it's an investment, not an expense.
My son took Princeton Review course --met a few hours on Sat-- he took the first test 1560 and after the course 1880! Who said you can't raise the scores. You take so many practice tests that by the time you take the real thing, piece of cake! There are many study courses however, even school sponsored ones are pretty good.
