My 4 year old son, who is in Pre-K, loves doing the worksheets that come home from church - matching games, stickers to put in the circles, etc. I want to get him a magazine subscription or workbook with similar exercises. Does anyone have any recommendations? What is it and where do you buy it? Update: Beth recommended Highlights High Five magazine - does anyone have any coupon codes to share?

If you have a Dollar Tree store in your area, they have a variety of workbooks on math, and language arts. Target also has a variety of workbooks taylored to children of his age that touch on science, world history, etc. I homeschool my four year old and I've found these workbooks to be valuable resources.
Highlights has several different magazines. My 4 and 5 year old love them.
Go to a Dollar Tree store--they have loads of such workbooks. S. Berryhill
My son's first magazine was Nick Jr. It had characters that he knew - the Nickelodean charaters, it was very colorful and had lots of activities. We moved to Highlights for Children around age 7 or 8. They liked that one too but required a more independent reader.
Another option - SchoolZone has a lot of good Educational workbooks based on grade level. They have coloring pages, stickers, games etc. Those workbooks can be found at any Target or Walmart or School Box stores.
