Need Nanny Help

My current Nanny just gave me her two week notice. She is moving back to Houston. All of my resources I have tried, after they stopped laughing at my request, have no one to offer. I realize summer just started and Nannies are in high demand and that most people, like myself, had summer taken care of months ago. So any suggestions, thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. My girls are 4 and 7. We need someone 8-5 Mon - Friday till August 25th. We live in the Lake Travis area close to Bee Cave and Hwy. 71.

What can I do next?

S., have you considered an Au pair? Cultural Care has several Au pairs currently in country and if one of those would be a match for you, you may be able to get one in your home in a matter of weeks. If you sign up before tonight, Monday, June 16 at 11 cst., you can get the program & application fee waived and that saves you $500. That also allows you to check into the program and see if you can find a match without any obligation. Some points to think about: Au pairs have experience and get additional training before coming to your home. Au pairs speak English and are between the ages of 18-26. Au pairs are allowed to do childcare for 45 hours per week. If you break down the costs it will run you no more than $320 per week. Look over this You Tube video for more about the Au pair selection process and drop me an email if your are interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhPFQmYEYsE

I wish you the best with your search.

I cant help you find a nanny but I am a stay at home mom of 4. 16 boy, 8 boy, 5 1/2 girl and a 2 year old girl. I live right off of 620 and Anderson Mill road. If you need some help I could watch them at my house until they go back to school or you find a replacement nanny. I have been a nanny before and it was great so I am no stranger to it.
