My daughter keeps asking me about her birthday party, which is in NOV., and I got a little card put on my truck window and about a kids only hair salon on the North West side that did birthday parties. Well, I talked to her about it and she has it in her mind that it will be there and I lost the card. Can anyone give me the name of the place, address, phone number or even a website address??? I can't believe I lost the card, but my daughter really wants to have a party for "Girls Only" and get dressed up. I am not sure if the place is still around but any help would be nice!

I got great ideas, and its so much better that the party come to my house and I don't have to clean up afterwards! I don't know about the northwest side but in the Forum at 35 and 1604 on the NE side, there at least used to be a place called Just for Girls. It is not a salon but it is a clothing store and they do parties. If I remember correctly, they can choose between queen, rockstar and one other. Hope this helps. Yoo might also try looking in the San Antonio Our Kids Magazine.
There is this place at The Shops at La Cantera. Club Libby Lu is the name of it. I have never been there but my mother in law mentioned it one time, she took her 8 yr. old daughter there for a birthday party. They did the girls hair, make up and got to choose from a couple of costumes to wear. They had tons of fun, i'm just not sure about the price, it may be pricey. Hope this is helpful for you! I have two daughters one is 17 and the other is 2...and my oldest told me about Libby Lou's (I believe that is it). It is a store at LaCantera Mall that caters to little girls and has birthday parties. She can't wait until her sister is old enough to have a party there. They apparently have make up, perfume and a lot of other girlie stuff.

my friend told me about "looby loos" (spelling?) in the stone oak area. she took hr daughter there, i think she's about 9, and they did her makeup and hair lik a rock star. she said they do parties. i'm gonna try to find it myself. good luck! i also know glamour shots does this sort of thing, but i don't know how expensive they are.
