Why not do a princess tea party type thingie. Where all the little girls invited get to dress up like princesses. You could do it at your house... and you can get very creative with it!

For my daughter's 6th birthday, we had her party at Kiln' Time pottery shop in Denton. The girls each got to pick out a piece of pottery to paint and they loved it! I'm sure you could find a pottery place closer to you that will accomodate parties....of course this kind of thing works out best if you have less than 10 kids involved. :-)
My daughter is doing the sweet & sassy thing this year (she's turning 5) and it looks really cute!
Also, other ideas:
Snip-its - also does makeup/pretent dress up parties for girls.
There's a place on Preston & between Spring Creek & Parker that is a kid's cooking place where kids can cook something and have a bithday party.
Check out Gym or Cheerleading places, I know my daughter's cheerleading/gymnastics place has a birthday party thing for girls.
Also there's Pizza Planet (very fun) with small carnivel type rides and games and pizza.
Good Luck!!

I just threw a party for my daughter's 5th birthday at home last week. It was so fun. The girls dressed up as princesses and the boys dressed up as knights, then they had storytime with Cinderella and then tea time.
My niece actually had a pottery painting party at Michaels/MJ Designs. The girls had alot of fun!
Also, there are indoor bouce house places. My other niece was turning 4 and her party was at a warehouse in McKinney that was FULL OF blowup bouncy things castles/slides, mazes, etc. The kids had a great time, had dominos delivered, and brought cupcakes. Alot of fun!!

Club Libby Lu is really really cute. They're in Stonebriar Mall in Frisco for sure. Its kinda like Build-a-Bear, in a sense... but the girls go in and get to pick a "look" they want for their "makeover." They can choose between a princess, rock star, etc., and then they get their makeup done, hair done, pick out an outfit and get to put on a fashion show. They have older girls (usually teenagers) working and throwing the parties, and they're really great with them. Of course all the makeup and everything is age-appropriate... its for little girls, so its totally geared towards playing dress-up. They have little songs and dances they teach them. Its really cute. Good luck!
Hi C.,
my daughter is also 6 and we have just attended a great party at the Plaza de Americas ice-skating ring,Downtown Dallas. Lots of fun, the kids got a great excercise, everyone was very hungry for a pizza and a cake. I thought it was a really good idea.
two friends an a mom or two in asleepover or at a hotel in the area could be fun, I loved my slumber party birthdays.
There is a place in Northpark mall as well as a few other malls it is a great place for little girls Club Libby Lu
How about Sweet & Sassy? They just opened a location in Frisco. or how about one of those pottery painting places like Quiggly's Clayhouse. Another idea although it's not girly is bowling. I have a neighbor that's about 6 and they think it's tons of fun.
