I'm baking some cookies for the guys up at my fiance's work and I don't want to take them up there in boring ol plastic wrap. Do any of you have any cute ideas on what I can put them in? And where do I get it? Please be as detailed as possible:ie: don't say just "target"- I need to know actually WHERE in Target. I am baking the cookies today and would like to take them over later this afternoon. Thanks a bunch!

What can I do next?

Alexandra,

I had the cheapest and adorable way to package cookies. I wrapped the cookies in plastic wrap and then wrapped it in pretty tissue paper and pretty ribbon. The secret is in the tissue paper and pretty ribbon. I recommend getting gold chiffon ribbon in garden ridge. It'll look nice and classy.

Hope that helps!
K

The Container Store has cute ideas - the have boxes that look like Chinese take-out containers. They also might have small celophane bags that you can tie up with ribbon. Don't know exactly where in the store they are located - just ask the clerk.

Alexandra,
If you have time, go to Michaels and looks in the cookie/cookie decorating section. Wilton's make little cookie bags that you can put your cookies in and then get some ribbon - doesn't matter what kind of fabric or color - chose whatever you think would look good - and tie the bags closed with ribbons. Obviously you can only put 2-3 cookies in each bag - but that way, your hubbie can pass out the bags - or leave in the lunch room for people to get themselves without everyone putting their hands in a cookie jar of sorts. I did this for my hubbie recently to take to work at xmas time - so I used ribbon about 1/2 inch thick and tied them in bows and I used xmas ribbon -- you can find ribbon in various length/dimensions and a variety of colors too! Oh, and then I bought a very cheap Seasons' greeting wicker basket and put all the bags of cookies in that - He took it to work and just left it on the counter and people walked by and were able to grab their own individual bag of cookies to take back to their desk.
Good luck,
K.
