Need Help on Where to Send My Brownie Scout to Sell Cookies

My daughter is in the Brownie Scouts this year and they have begun cookie sales. Problem is, I am fairly new to Colorado and dont know even a handful of people. The reason I am trying to help her so much is because she was sponsored in since my husband didn't have a job at the time of registration. It came to my attention that the cookie sales from last year is what helped sponsor her and I would like her to be able to sell enough to do the same for someone else. We are not yet in a solid church so I can't ask there and our neighborhhood has already been hit up by 3 other scouts. Just looking for some suggestions of how I can help her out. Thank you all in advance for your advice.

What can I do next?

I would try banks, local grocery stores, maybe even talk to the Wal Mart in your area and see if they will let you sell. I will buy some, however I am in Lakewood but let me know if you are ever in the area because I have a huge family and as a girl scout/brownie alumni we are all about helping the girls out.

Ask your local grocery store if you can schedule to set up a booth out front one Saturday with a table and sell there.
My daughter was in Brownies and Scouts and they had shifts that the girls could do rotating in front of the stores.
Send emails out to friends and family even out of state. Shipping them can be factored in the cost if need be.
The leader of the troop should offer guidance too, so talk to her about your concerns.

SEND HER TO MY HOUSE!! LOL!! :D

I don't have much to offer here, primarily because I'm 40 miles South of you, but I do think you'll get great responses and will have no trouble with her getting her cookies sold. :)

L. - We did our cookie training last week and one good suggestion is that businesses are not off limits. Consider taking her to a local business park (maybe a building of doctors, dentist offices, etc.) and have her go into the offices and take orders from them (just make sure you are there with her for safety reasons!). There are generally several employees present at any time and it will make delivery so easy! Also, see if your husband can take her mini form into the office and post it in the break room, etc. (my husband sold 50 boxes last year that way - to 4 people!) Also, have her take the form to school and ask her teacher. Best of luck!

count me in too... we don't have any brownies in our neighborhood and I'd rather buy from your little girl than out front of the super-market.

which might be another idea... at the king soopers on ken caryl in littleton, they have designated hours on the weekend for kids to sell their stuff... i've seen girlscouts, boyscounts, westernairres... maybe your daughter's troop has a day like this that she could join up? I think they split the "credit" for sales.

I'll buy some! No one has hit my neighborhood yet - at least I don't think they have. You can email me at ____@____.com and I'll give you my address if you want to try this neighborhood. I'm in the Powers and Airport Rd. area. C. :)
