Train? Bus? I know it takes longer ... U can try to talk him into tryin dramamine. I never liked flying until i got a job traveling. After a bout 3 trips i started not minding so much. the dramamine helped. and sometimes a shot would do even better. but there are alternatives they just take longer. and lIke i like to go upstate. New Hamphire vermont, saratoga Lake george (great family spot) . there all in drivin distance. Lake george is exactly 3.5 hrs from Wlfd. sartatoga is exactly 3 hrs. from wlfd. thats iwht a stop on the mass pike for potty breaks. try the alternative. i can give great directions upstate and locations to go.

My mother used to be afraid of flying until she wanted to go to Cali.. We live in Massachusetts so to prepare her she look short flights to New York for the weekend. She also took drem. to help her. After about the third time she flew she was ready to go a little farther. it took about 7 times on longer and longer flights. Now she goed to Cali every year and does not need any meds anymore!

Good Luck

im scared to fly too, and i feel your husbands pain... but there are other ways to travel, and yes they take longer, but i heard trains are a nice ride, regarless of where your going. there is something about being close to the ground thats so reassuring :) but if you want to fly, drugs do help :)

WELL HE REALLY HAS TO WANT TO GO OR YOU SIMPLY WONT GO ANYWHERE IN THE AIR. I CAN CONTEST TO THAT. I WAS PERTIFIED OF FLYING, AIRPLANES, NOT ENOUGH AIR UP THERE, SURROUNDED BY META EVERYTHING. THE WHOLE THING FREAKED ME OUT. UNFORTUNATELY TWO DEAR PEOPLE WHOM I LOVED DEARLY PASSED AWAY WITHIN A YEARS TIME. WE HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO DISNEY BUT WE NEVER HAD ENOUGH VACATION TIME TO DRIVE SO WE NEVER WENT. AFTER THESE TWO PEOPLE DIED, I MADE THE DECISION THAT WAS THAT. AFTER SPEAKING WITH MY DR AND WAS PRESCRIED A MED JUST TO PACK FOR THE TRIP BECAUSE I WAS HAVING ANXIETY ATTACKS. , WE WENT ON A DISNEY CRUISE, THE BEST TIME OF OUR LIVES. I WAS MEDICATED BOTH WAYS ON THE PLANE BUT COMING HOME I ACTAULLY GLANCED OUT THE WINDOW FOR A SECOND. BUT I WAS READY TO CONQUER THIS FEAR. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO DO IT, IT REALLY COULD CAUSE ALOT OF PROBLEMS. BE PATIENT WITH YOUR HUSBAND AS MY HUSBAND AND FAMILY WERE WITH ME. BEST OF LUCK
