M.,

Try New Horizons Child Development Center on NW Expressway & Council. This is where I have my daughter. I had to go through several centers to find one we (daughter and I) really like.I am a picky mom and this is the only center that I have been really happy with. They are a 3 star center. Their website is www.NHCDC.com
I am also a teacher in the infant/toddler room there. My opinion is not biased by that though. I know what goes on in the classrooms, even when and especially when parents are not there and I feel comfortable reccommending it.
We even make a scrapbook for you that includes your childs art (yes, even the little ones get to do art), pictures of your child and their friends, and little anecdotes about your child. New Horizons has several centers. Check out their website! GOOD LUCK! By the way, Rainbow Fleet is an really good suggestion for help finding the right center.

Hi M.,

Rainbow Fleet is a great referral source in Oklahoma for childcare. Their website is http://www.rainbowfleet.org. You can either call or email them with your requirements and they will fax or email you a listing of daycare centers and providers in your area. I found a wonderful home daycare provider for my son using their services. Good luck! I promise you will find a provider you like. Oklahoma has several great centers and providers to choose from. It is so hard when it is your first though. :) Be sure to interview and ask lots of questions.

M., I too am pregnant, about 6 1/2 months. I also have a 3 1/2 yr old son who is currently in Daycare at La Petite at 122nd and McArthur. This facility has been wonderful for my son. I will probably put the baby there as well, but it is a little expensive. I myself would love to find a good inhome daycare, but I find it difficult to trust. The LaPetite center has impressed me.
