We have a really great pediatrician, but I don't like that they don't have a separate room for sick vs. well babies. Since the swine flew outbreak, I haven't brought her in for her well baby checkup for fear she will get exposed! I really want a ped that offers the two rooms. Our daughter is 2 years old.
I took my daughter to El Camino Pediatrics for 18 years -- infant to "graduation". It is a pediatric group (now about 10 docs) and you choose one as your Primary Care Physician, but can see any of them for urgent care. All the docs there are great (smart, well-trained and experienced, up-to-date, proactive but still cautious) as well as the staff. They have a second suite in a separate building in the complex for well-visits.
La Costa Pediatrics is fantastic! There are two entrances w/a large wall in between. Also, it's such a small office that we have RARELY even seen other patients in the waiting room.
We have been to Drs. Hitchcock & Warner and adore them both. Plus, the office staff is really nice, helpful, & understanding.
