My sons 1st grade class is having a Pajama day at school and that also happens to be our snack day. I am looking for some clever ideas for snacks that day for about 20. Does anyone have any really cute ideas that would fit with the PJ theme? Thanks Mamas!! :)

You could go the messy way or the non-messy way. When we did pajama day I brought in batter and a electric skillet. The kids watched as i made the pancakes for them. If you want to be less messy make the pancakes ahead of time and then microwave them in the teachers' lounge right before snack. Good luck!

When I think of PJ Party I think of movie snacks like Red Vines and mini-bags of popcorn.

"Pigs in a blanket"?
(mini hot dogs wrapped in biscuit dough and baked)
That is all that comes to mind...
"PJ's" and "blankets"...

Oh! What about little beds? Maybe a gummy bear asleep on a rectangle cookie, covered with a fruit roll-up blanket?
(maybe they could assemble these themselves?)

Mini pancakes or mini pizzas made out of pitas, sauce and cheese are my only ideas. Have fun!

We have milk and cookies. You could make cookies that will tie into a story. For example gingerbread cookies for Jan Brett's series of the Gingerbread man & Baby. Chocolate chip could go along with The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins. Just have a picture of the storybook or a copy of the book next to the cookies.

T.,
Since it's PJ Day can you go with some fun cereals for snack to tie in with the PJ theme?Dry cereal variety of: Captain Crunch, Fruit Loops, and Cheerio's. You could put the mix in a fun paper cup that kids use to brush their teeth???

Or serve it with milk and just bring bowls and spoons. YOu can have two cereals for them to choose or mix them together!!!!

We did this for Easter morning and the kids had a blast!!!!!!
