hi everybody! I'm looking for a dentist that's good with kids. The one I recently took my girls to see didn't do anything, just told them to open there mouths. Then told me they need to brush more in the back, because he already can see decay he thinks. I was so disappointed, I thought they were going to brush their teeth and teach them how to do it. So, if anybody knows of a good dentist, please let me know. Thanks

I have not needed to take my child to a dentist yet (9 mo.), but have heard good things about two pediatric dentists in OKC: Dr. Thai Ann Doan and Dr. Bill Bozalis. Hope this helps!
It might be a little out of the way for you, but I'm in love with our dentist here in Edmond. His prices are very reasonable, and usually cheaper than everyone else's. He's young and has young kids of his own. And he's great with my kids - and me! I have a history of problems and with as many dds's as I've had in my mouth, I can honestly say he's the most gentle - and he has little hands. And he's cute... :]

I have a great dentist for my children, but he is in edmond. Children's Dentistry - Dr. Cheatham on Covell & Kelly. The kids get to wear sunglasses so the light doesn't get in thier eyes. The water squirter is named Mr Thirsty and they use other cute names for all the dentist tools that are used. My kids have never been scared and Dr. Cheatham along with his entire staff treats the kids very well. They truely care for thier little patients. The kids also get a small toy, toothbrush (oral-B) not the cheap 99c toothbrushes, dental floss, and a timer so they know how long to brush thier teeth. It maybe more than a little drive from where you are in OKC but well worth it.
