Any ideas on where I could find a referee shirt for a child? I have seen ladies shirts on amazon and ebay- (which I will do as a last resort) but I know it will be way to big. I have no idea where to find this! She is a size 10- and could prob wear a juniors x-small. I dont want/like the referee halloween costumes online so we are trying to put one together ourselves. Thanks for any ideas!
Thanks for the suggestions.. I was at wal mart today and found the striped material and since I am somewhat crafty at sewing I was able to find a cheap pattern and total spent was 8.00. (much better than 25.00 for a one time wear) I just finished it and there are a few flaws but oh well.. Hope my picky ten year old likes it and hope it fits right!

I don't know if they have the size you need, but I saw some at Academy this week in the men's department.
did you check out the second hand stores in your area? We always do that first. another thought is to go to a sporting good store. they may have one that will fit

Google "Youth referee shirts" and you'll see a lot.
I found a referee dress (must have been a former dance costume) at our local Goodwill. I'm hoping my 9 year goes along with the costume plan. Just need a black baseball cap, whistle and a clip board. Did I miss any other accessories to complete this outfit?
Do you have a Monkey Joe's play place by you? The employees at Monkey Joe's wear referee shirts. Maybe you could call them and ask if you could buy one from them??
I looked. They have 2 in Houston. Is that near you?
