Why not try Kohl's? They have a position, I think it is called "ad set" and you go in and put up the sales signs. They start about 9 when the store is closing, and work til they are done. It is not every night, but several a week.
Good luck!
i am in desperate need of a job. i can't afford childcare so it has to be something either from home or nights (after my husband gets home). i am not interested in selling beauty products or natural cleaning products, jewelry, tupperware, food... i have looked online and have read into some internet jobs, but i don't know what's a scam and which are legit??? i would even be interested in working part time overnights... advice and suggestions would be great. thanks so much!

I work for Home Instead Sr. Care which gives me flexible hours. I work weekends right now but I have worked other hours depending on what my schedule is. There are lots of different offices around but I'm sure something like that might work for you because I know they also have evening and overnight hours.
Think about the kinds of businesses that are open 24 hours a day and see if you might be able to get a job at one of those, like a hospital or a 24 hour restaurant or a cleaning service that cleans commercial buildings at night. You might also see if you could work at a daycare center during the day and take your child(ren) with you. Good luck with your job search.
UPS has a variety of shifts and positions that you could look into.
Don't know what your background is, your skills, etc. but if you can leave, try the traditional: post office, UPS, department stores, fast food chains, etc.
Check out the info at mysteryshop.org. It is legit. I've been doing this part-time for over 6 years. I can even bring my kiddos along most the time. I also do merchandising which might pay a bit better. You can find out more info at marketforce.com (i think). Good luck!
Look into hospitals. They have part time overnight positions.
You likely won't find a job on the internet, most things are a business of some type that are much more flexible than a job. Things on the internet such as viritual office assistant, you would have to find a company to or people to hire you. The same for medical transcription/billing, you have to take a course and then find doctors to hire you.
Go to a retail store, fast food, movie theatre etc for something in the evening/weekends.
Prior to having children, what did you do? Is it something you could now do from home? What are your skills are you a savvy computer person, etc? What kind of income are you looking for will also make a difference. There are several sites if you do an internet site looking for "legitimate work at home jobs" and there are sites that will give you info on what to look out for -- I've seen some postings on here but cannot recall the site. You seem to have ideas of what you do not want to do, but do you have ideas of what you want to do?
Have you ever thought about overnight sitting for adults? There are a lot of people out there living with elderly parents that need nights out for work or fun. The pay is usually very good and not hard. Check your towns local paper or go online.
I found this good stay at home job that I work at that is not a scam and I work when I want and do what i want to do. It is a legit job and I get a paycheck every month. If you would like the website link please email me at ____@____.com.
