Hi M. where do you live??
Hi M. -
About 3 months ago I was looking for a part time nanny and I used sittercity.com. Within 3 days I got 53 applications and after careful screening, I met with 4 women. I picked the women based on what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. I found that the younger the sitter, the less they asked for. It also depends on what your expectations are. Anyhow, I found an amazing 19 year old local college student and I pretty much set the salary. The whole process took me a week. It's a good site and very safe for both my end and the sitter's end, but you have to screen thoroughly. It costs a little to join, but once you find someone, you can "quit" the site. It was worth the money and you don't pay anything else other than the original fee plus monthly. Good luck!

Hi I'm a childcare provider in Brooklyn. Most of my clients find me through a list generated by the DOH. If you look up on your computer (childCare NYC)www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/dc/daycarelist.shtml -it will let you know any one near. Best of Luck
I highly recommend this day care. My son absolutely love it. He was 2 when we first time come there and we don't wont change it on anything else.
