I am 5 months pregnant with our second son. My husband and I are having a really hard time coming up with a name we love. Our first son is Wyatt Oden Wilkerson (WOW), we had his first name picked out when we were dating and fairly easily agreed on the middle name. For this child my husband likes the name Colt, I like Rhett and Jack but we really don't LOVE them. We're wanting to stick with a western/older sounding name. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Congrats! What about:

What about Carson? It is kind of a western name, after the cowboy "Sunset Carson" (actor).
I love the name Jack. I actually like all the names you pick.
Maybe you have to wait to meet him. :-)
My friend has a little boy named Waylon.
I suggest Clint. Sounds very western and Clint Eastwood played in a lot of westerns. Good luck!
How about Waylon. Great name! And very "western".
Or Harrison (I love it - reminds me of Harrison Ford). Billie? Hunter? Austin? Mason? Gunner?
Or you could go for the initials spelling "POW". I can't think of a western sounding P name at the moment. :)
I have a girlfriend with a son named Wyatt, her other two are Logan & Kason! I also love the name Weston--Wes for short is way cute :)
Zane

Carson
Cody
Galvin

GOOD LUCK!!!
When I was pregnant, we are hashing over the names Levi, Jackson, Nathaniel, or Parish (all family names) if it were a boy. But it was a girl and the choice was much harder! Good luck!

Sticking with the WOW theme:
Wylie Owen
Wylie Omar
Wylie Olsen
Wylie Olie
Wylie Oliver
I personally have always loved Cole, Chord and Tripp...they all sound 'western' to me!
~I have a Wyatt and wanted to name him Wylie but the husband wouldn't go for it...so now I call him 'Wylie Wyatt' :)
Someone below suggested Corbin...I have a Korbin and a Wyatt! :)
My gf's husband is a die hard rodeo kind of guy. They named their little man "Corbin Kade". Corbin was named after a young man who was a bull rider.
"Corbin Carpenter was thrown from a bull and trampled while competing at the National High School Finals Rodeo in 2008. He was critically injured at the event and doctors believed he had only a 5% chance of survival. He became an inspiration to many as he fought for his life and not only survived the incident but went on to gain the ability to walk once again compete in the rodeo arena."
I like Ryder (Red Ryder)
Marshall

Rhett! A guy I worked with had a son named that and I love it! I like hudson too. My sons middle name is hunter I like it with both!
rhett hunter sounds like a cute cowboy to me! Let us know what you like!
I always liked the name Stone. I don't really know why. My husbands name is Storm which I think is awesome.
Oh I forgot Ty I love the name Ty.
I'm not too big on Rhett. I love Jack or how about Colton? You could also go with John for John Wayne if your husband is a fan. ;)
I met a little boy named Stetson once. I thought that was pretty neat. Very Western, and unusual, but not, "this is going to get me beat up for life" unusual. LOL
Good luck!
P.S. By the way, his brothers were named Houston and Austin.
A little boy I know is named Weston. Love it. I also like Mason and Harper.
I like Colt and it's cute with Wyatt.
Colton Jack Wilkerson gets my vote :)
Our boys are Ty and Ryder and we love the names! If we are ever to have another boy it would be Easton.
We too wanted "western" names ~ we referred to them as rodeo names!
I also like Colby, Colton, Connor, Tanyr, Wade, and Carson.
My son has a friend Blaze (or maybe it's Blaize?).
Kaden, or Jackson maybe?
I don't like Rhett or Colt. Sorry.
