A home remedy that works wonders....

Use an equal mixture of apple cider vinegar and rubbing alcohol. Put a few drops in the ear at morning and at night. Should clear it up pretty quick. Make sure to use apple cider and not white vinegar though.

I had a horrible ear infection last spring that I went through 3 rounds of antibiotics for and finally my chiropractor told me about this and within 3 days it had cleared up. Good luck.

You can go to the pharmacy and ask... If I recall, there are some ear drops to help, "dry out" swimmers ear. The problem is though, you could be developing a sinus infection or other sinus issue.

First thing is to evaluate your symptoms: do you have a fever? do you feel unbalanced? do you feel nausea? can you hear with that ear?

If you have the above, you should probably be seen by a doctor. If not, you may have water in your ear from swimming, showering, etc and it may just need to get out.

If you are concerned, you should always seek medical care.

Good luck to you!

I would suggest a good nose flushing in the morning and nigh time before bed. Use an antihistamine for a few days to help decrease the fluid in your ear. Also you can pinch your nose, close your mouth and push air into your mouth to the pressure out of your ear (pop your ear). Also you can grab the middle of your ear lobe, kind of quickly pull it outwards to the side a few times and then pull down on the last pull. It really helps to promote drainage.
Hope this helps you some.

Swimmers ear drops can help dry out your ear, they aren't expensive :)
If you do develop pain though, look up using garlic to heal it. It works wonders!

I have a natural antihistamine but you would have to order it and it would take a few days........so I would say go over to Wholefoods and ask them what they have. You are just stopped up and it is doubtful it will turn into an ear infection. Sudafed or benedryl may even do the trick.
