I would call (not go to) her doctor and just see what they say. Even if your doctor's office is closed, there should be a nurse on duty (24/7) who can take your call.

My guess would be she has diarrhea, but that's just an initial guess. Talk to the nurse and see what he/she has to say.

She could have had a fissure that got infected or something. Sometimes kids poop is large and tears happen. Only an exam will show what it is.

If she noticed it then I'd say it's more than just a little issue.

Yes! You need to know what caused this.

Where was she before coming home?
Is discharge from vagina or rectum? Where it's coming from makes a big difference. Little girls do have a whitish discharge that is normal. Does her bottom look irritated? When did she have her last bowel movement? What was it's texture? To hard or too soft (diarrhea) can cause pain. What does your daughter say when you ask her what she did during the day? Does she know why it hurts?

Really? If my child complained of anal discharge and pain? I would be heading to the Urgent Care, not the computer.

Where did your child come home from?
What had your child been doing PRIOR to coming home?
Has she been sexually assaulted?
