Hello ladies, I am looking for some good ideas for my son's 7th Birthday party which is in March...I was thinking of maybe doing it at home and he also would like to have it at home too which literally caught me by surprise! But I was wondering if any of you have some good afforadable ideas for me, Also, does anyone no someone that does magic shows and of a professional kid-friendly face painting? I really dont want to spend to much on his party but would love for him and his friends to have an enjoyable time....Thank You!

What can I do next?

Mr. Bob's Fun Magic!!! Mr. Bob is OUTSTANDING and funny!!! He entertained the kids on my daughter's 5th bday. She got an actual "bday certificate" and he supplied party favors for the kids! He makes balloon animals and I think he face paints. We didn't have time for either one, but he made my daughter a balloon animal. Great entertainer and reasonably priced! Here is his information:

My son just turned six and we had a LEGO party at our house just last Saturday. I don't know if your boy is into LEGOS, but if he is email me and I'll explain everything I did to decorate and the activities and goody bags, etc. He and the boys from his class all had a BLAST--they stayed for 2.5 hours.

Why not have a sleep over? Kids love that. You can have a magic show or a face painter come, serve pizza & cake, and trust me they will entertain themselves after that. It's really not that bad. I did it last year for my daughter's 6th b-day with 8 girls. Was it loud and crazy at times? yes. Did I have some girls cry because they missed mom? yes. But, all in all they had a great time, my daughter had "the best birthday ever!" and I was a hero, for a weekend. lol The next morning my husband ran to Dunkin Donuts and that made a great party even better! Some girls came to the party, but did not stay over night. One girl said she didn't want to stay and then had me call her mom and ask her to bring stuff, because she wanted to stay over. Everyone came with blankets, pillows or sleeping bags and slept on the floor. They didn't care. The best part, I didn't spend a ton of money.
