Mother's Day Gifts for Church

At out church we give out gifts for Mother's Day and this year it some how became my job to get the gifts for each lady in the church. I have no idea what to get. They don't want flowers so I am really at a loss.
Does anyone have any ideas? This is a very small church about 10 ladies. The budget does not matter (nothing very expensive), I am purchasing the gift myself to save the church money.

What can I do next?

In the past mothers have recieved book marks with a scripture on them and a pen (2 seperate Mother's Days). I personally used both.

Depends on how many ladies there are. Crosses can be made with sticks and ribbons, you can find lots of ideas at the craft store.
Give out magnets with scriptures, you can find these at the Dollar Store. A lot of great things can be found there. Buy candles and write scriptures on them. Good luck, you will find the perfect gift.

How about scentsy? Our warmers use a low watt bulb to melt specially formulated wax slowly, maximizing it's fragrance time. With no flame, soot, or wick, the Scentsy wickless candle system is a safe way to enjoy more than 80 Scentsy fragrances. Please check out my website and feel free to call me. I will show you how to get more for your money!!
I will never go back to candles!!

A donation to new moms or newborns at the hospital? A nice luncheon? a photo session... you can hire a photographer to come after church and take pictures of all of the families during the luncheon and then let the families order them online through shutterfly or something. It all depends on the budget.

We do chocolate every year at our church. It's so much better than the little books or flowers we used to get.
So, a nice chocolate bar with a ribbon around it is my vote! :)
I also like the idea of a donation to new moms or newborns. Great idea!

Why don't you donate money in all of their names to an organization that is important to your church or to a women's shelter or breast cancer research.
Sometimes the organization will give you cards to hand out so that these women will have something tangible-and a donation last a LOT longer than a flower.
Good luck-
