We have never had a problem with our pool service (4 years) until now. They sold us a very high end pool cleaner and it continues to break. We can't get them out to repair it within their warranty period. Also, they are based out of Keller and have to continue to raise their rates due to high fuel costs.
Does anyone recommend a pool service located in Grand Prairie, Arlington, Mid Cities that is reliable and competitively priced? This is such a source of stress as we are entering the summer months...
We have used Sun Tan pools for years. I'm not sure on how competitive their prices are but they are very reliable. We are in the Arlington area.

I used Suntan Pools out of Mansfield, I think they are, and it was really cheap. It was like $60 a month for twice-a-week chemical service. I haven't found anybody else that cheap but we started doing it ourselves at the end of last summer. We don't have trees and really have no need for someone to clean also, which costs over $100 a month, I think, for them to clean every time also.
We use Pool Chlor, and so far so good! We've only been using them for 3 months. Before that we also had a pool service out of Keller, but they kept installing and 'fixing' things before approving it with us which made the bill really high!! My friends also use Pool Chlor, they are who referred us, and they really like them as well and have used them for a few years.

We used a pool service for years an then my husband started doing it an has ever since. I was wondering If you can't get them to fix your cleaner if you thought of calling a news channel. They will investagte them an maybe you could get some staifaction of just getting it fixed or the BBB. Do you have somethnig like American Home Shield or Country Wide Home warrantys. We have A.H.S. believe me when a pump goes out it is worth have them. The first year we moved in the pump went out an they replaced it for $35.00 It would have been over $1.000 if we had to buy it. This is something you can pay monthly or yearly an it covers much more .But your Pool an somethings are add on others things are automatically covered under the plan.But if it wasn"t for thme we would be really in bad shape.You can get them on the website of www.americanhomeshield.com
When we moved in to our house 4 years ago, we could not get the pool chemicals right. David Phillips of David's Pool Care (in Arlington) came and had the pool looking great in 12 hours.
