I am new to Forney as well (well, almost a year now). I have a 3 year old and 1 year old daughters. I have found 2 groups that provide playdates/playgroups, outings in the area. I am a Forney mom. My kids our 4 and almost 3 yrs. I understand wanting some friends. My husband and I been going through the same thing. No family or friends in the area. go to website and pick a location to contact. I am leaving town on the 26th and when I get back need to start job hunting, so not sure what my schedule will be like. And my kids are older so I gave you some suggestions. My church is supposed to be opening a new location in Forney. Right now we drive to Rockwall. That is another way to meet people. I am going to a moms Bible study there in the fall. And if you are not a "gun hoe" christian... well, I've not been the best either... so that is fine too.
