I let my baby chew on a clothes pin...i just took the metal piece out and let her have the 2 pieces..i did watch her though...she loved it..or a wet wash rag worked sometimes..there are teething tablets but i havent tried them..i would give her tylenol until she was old enough for motrin, sometimes just let her chew on my fingers..hope any of that helps..

Motrin alternated with acetaminophen as well as hyland's teething tabs. A physician friend also recommends moistening part of a wash cloth and freezing it for the baby to chew on. I was not a fan of oracle as it is too easy to numb their gag reflex. good luck. You will make it through this.

I bought small bagels and froze them to chew on, I also did the frozen wash cloth too. Of course you need to watch them at all times with these :)
I also used Oragel - just a bit though and be careful, it stains whatever you put it on (bookshelf, side table, etc.)

If your child uses a pacifire wet it and freeze it. Or you could give them a popsicle. They all love that! It's a mess but it sure does numb the gums well!

I know it sounds kinda hokey but I got my son a amber teething necklace. I wasn't convinced at first that it worked (my boy is a good natured little fella-hard to tell) but I do notice a difference when he is not wearing it.

I bought it specifically because his latch had become unbearable-I wanted him to re-relax.

Here is where I got mine from: http://hyenacart.com/stores/inspiredbyfinn/index.php?c=63...

Hope this helps!

a leather key chain or a wooden dow rod at least 1/2 thick 3/4 is better its grippable and wont splinter and can reach any part of the mouth they need. teething tablets and tylenol is a must

My DD's favorite thing is one of those mesh feeding bags (you can buy at wal-mart) with frozen bananas. She likes it with ice cubes too. Great snacktime relief! Teething tablets worked great for her... We also have a teether that is long instead of round, so she can chew with the back of her mouth too.
