I just stole a pieced of my kids candy when he got home and the Milk Duds taste really weird this year, I told my hubby to try them and he thought they had kind of a nutty taste. Then my son tried them and agreed they don't have that yummy caramel / chocolate taste, just WEIRD! Anyone one else try them this year? I wonder if they changed the recipe??
Well just for research I grabbed one out of my kids bag. Nope, taste the same as last year. Maybe yours are stale.
Just in case it comes up tonight I am going to have a tootsie roll next. :)

Happy to report that Butterfingers, Kit Kats, Almond Joys, and Reece's PB Cups are unchanged too!
Since people have complained so much about what goes into everything.. I call them the food Police.. Some things, just do not taste as good as they used to.
Lots of the chocolate companies, have quit using the oils they used to use so it also changes some of the textures..
Yes they taste like they always do...However, they get hard to quickly...I was disappointed when I grabbed my kids and they were excessively chewy.
I bought some (just because I love them, not specifically to give out, since we only get about 4 t-o-t's anyway).... and they tasted like they always do, to me.
Maybe the ones your kid received were "old".....?
