Dear Moms,
As we near mid thirties facial lines show up and its only then that one finds the time to think about a good skin care regimen. I have liked the Olay night creme and the SPF day creme so far and was wondering if anyone has used the "Olay Regenerist" or the "Olay PROX" products. These sell at Target and Costco and my guess is the Costco ones are cheaper for more quantity. But would really like to hear from folks who have tried them before trying them out.

So What Happened?

Dear Moms, Thanks for all your answers. I have asked this question to several other women in my life. I am currently using the Olay ProX line, its improved my texture, but wouldnt say its something radical. I plan to use it for 60 days and try another line and compare them, shall post more on this then.

I like the Mary Kay skin care line... and no I don't sell it, but there is bound to be someone near you that does, their Timewise products are great, especially the face lift in a bottle... I'm in my 40's and it works great! if you can't find a sales person I can get you in contact with mine.

I like the line from Avon, I want to say it is called Anew...lots of avon reps will give you samples. I know my sister uses Olay products and she looks as if she doesn't need them in my opinion. I wish I could be of more help. Staying hydrated is important, don;t neglect your water intake, very important for healthy skin, especially as we hit our mid -thirties ( right there with you on that one!) Lots of luck, I think with products it really is an individual thing, because what works for one person doesn't always work for someone else.

Thinking about getting Fraxel or the CO2 laser is not pathetic. We are aging, and that process is a fantastic way to have long-term results in reducing fine lines, age spots, and acne scars! Just be ready to have a couple of weeks of down time for the skin to heal itself.

In the meantime, you may try the Murad line of products! It is developed by a guy who is a Dermatologist as well as a Pharmacist. I have been using them for about 7 months now and LOVE them! There is a line for firming the skin, and plumping those fine lines and I started noticing a difference shortly after beginning to use them. Murad's full line is online, but you can also find some of it at Sephora and Ulta.

Good luck!

I feel pathetic, but I'm 32 and considering Fraxel laser. I also have acne scars and heavy malasma to correct, however. I do know many women who use retin-A for these lines and once they get past a peeling phase they are quite happy with the results. Some have mentioned blue/red LED therapy, but I'm unsure as to the results. Best of Luck!

I have used the Proxnight creamfor wrinkles and the spot cream. Loved the night cream, but didn't see the results on the spot cream. I have heard great things about the ProXline in terms of wrinkle reduction and filler and saw noticible results just using the night cream. Combining with ROC product could be ideal.
OH, I have used regenerist, but had to take it back. I do not have sensitive skin, but something in it made the skin around my eyes swell up an my face break out.
FYI: Next time you are in line at the grocery store pick up InStyle (the one with Jennifer Hudson on it) they have three derms telling you their regimine/products for a variety of issues. It was very helpful. May be out this week or next on newstands.

You will get what you pay for, but that does not mean you have to go really expensive. I have done my own test over the years and have found that Mary Kay gives you the quality of department stores but the middle of the road prices. I have been so impressed that I became a consultant and continue to do testing with my team. We have found that by the time we used up the Target/Walmart items we had only used one of the Mary Kay and the cost was the same, yet we got better anti aging results from the Mary Kay. It is true what they say, "A little dab will do ya!"
Everything is also 100% satisfaction guaranteed and I keep it all in stock. I even deliver to your doorstep so it is very convenient.
If you want a fool proof regiment that is simple let me know. I am here to help because I have researched it myself. That is the skeptic in me, but it is my money and my skin that was in question.
I would love to help if you so choose.
