Here's a great one: http://www.mealmixer.com/
meal planning and shopping lists, you can even make adjustments for food allergies or preferences.
I'm trying to find new recipes and ideas, preferably ones that come with a shopping list. I would like to have dinners planned out a week ahead of time, and have all the supplies in home and ready to go. I know there are pay sites that offer that, which I'm okay with..as long as i know what I'm getting. Do any moms have a site they prefer, or maybe have stumbled across one that's free?? Thanks!

My sister uses http://www.e-mealz.com/index.shtml. It's $5/month but it gives you recipes for the whole week and list all the ingredients and gives a shopping list. You could do it for a month or tw, get some good recipes and then stop getting it. It gives so many different option types of meals too. It also gives an approximate cost of what all those groceries would cost. It's pretty cool! I know you were looking for free, but I thought I'd mention this one since it's good and worth a look at. Good luck!
I use http://allrecipes.com/ every week and find it great. It's free, it has the shopping list feature, and you can create your own weekly pantry list that automatically gets added to the recipes shopping list. Also, Rachel Ray mag has a weekly menu planner that gets emailed on wednesdays if you sign up through the webpage with a shopping list too. that one is usually too intimidating for me though.
A great site that has recipes and lets you build a shopping list from them is www.kraftfoods.com. You just have to sign up for an account (its free) and you can have your own recipe box. Its got some wonderful fast and easy recipes to make.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I use sparkspeople.com It is a diet weight loss sight but has menus and shopping list. It is free. Try it. Good luck.
I love this site - http://www.cookingtf.com/mailer.html
She will mail you exactly what you are talking about - pre-set menus with a shopping list and directions on what to prep the night before for the next day, etc. All the foods are very traditional and nutrient-dense. =)
I LOVE $5 Dinners (www.5dollardinners.com) I'm not sure she gives you a shopping list before each day's recipe, though.
I use AccuChef. You have to buy the program but it has become invaluable to me. You can import recipes from different sites, enter your own recipes, and make your own menu plans which will then generate a shopping list for you. They'll even let you try it out before you buy.
I've found with other pay sites, that the weeks menu they send you has at least one or two meals that my kids won't touch! I find it much easier to compile what specifically works for us and then use the tools on AccuChef to generate my own weekly menus.
I've entered all of my families tried and trues and add to my own list as I find new recipes that work. I recommend it highly.

I am not sure if recipezaar.cam has what you are looking for, might be worth a try to check it out.
www.diabetes.org is a great way to get meal plans for free. Even if you are not diabetic, this website has a lot of information about food, including recipies and nutritional values of foods. Hope this helps. Good luck.
The food network and all recipies are the two I use to find new recipies as I have to be careful what I eat because of my own health concerns. Usually, I will print out the recipies I want to use and make my own shopping list from there. I am not sure about other stores but I know Big Y has a free option to go through the weekly flyer and create a grocery list and I usually add anything that I don't find on sale to my list. If it's spices, you can usually find a few at the dollar stores for a good price; usually the more common ones.
If you go onto StopandShop.com, click on recipes, you can find a recipe you want and click the box next to the ingredients and it automatically starts a shopping list for you. Then you can just print it out and head to the grocery store!
savingdinner.com or check out flylady.com if the first doean't work

Hi J.
My friends have used Dream Dinners. Depending where you live-they are all over. Check them out. I have tasted the food and it is quite good!

There is a 7 day meal planner (complete with shopping list, etc.) published in the Sunday Union Leader every week. While I've not followed it to the letter, I have used some of the recipes. They lay it out so that it makes sense - one one night you cook extra meat for the next night's dinner, for example. There is always a kid-friendly meal, an "express meal", a "budget meal" and a meatless meal. I've found that there are often foods that I haven't tried before, but that's the best way to get out of a cooking rut!
hi,
I use www.cooksaid.com and I love it. They will send you a free week as a trial and you can see if it works for you. It includes a shopping list and all of the meals are healthy, delicious, and can usually be done in 30 minutes or less.

Getting dinner on the table every night is often the last thing Mom's get to think about until 5pm and then we feel lost, but creating a regular family dinner time and making it a daily habit is one of the most important things we can do for our families. It looks like you've gotten a lot of websites to check out. I've found Dream Dinners works well for me and my family. With a new menu every month to choose from, you get great variety, good quality food, nutritionally appropriate portion sizes, and the pride that you made it yourself. Dream Dinners takes all the shopping, chopping, prep and mess out of you home; it's wonderful! Good luck!
