Hello, I have just had my 3rd child and thus I no longer need my maternity clothes. Most are in like new condition. I am wondering if it makes more sense to donate to salvation army or bring to a resale shop? And, if I do bring them to a resale shop, where is there one in the grayslake/libertyville area that would take them?

Thanks!!

What can I do next?

There is a Goodwill store in Mundelein on Rt 60 and Midlothian. There is also a resale store in Wauconda called Kinder Kloset off of Rt 176.
You could also contact any local churches and ask them!

Anpother option is the Tri-County Pregnancy Center with locations in Grayslake and Crystal Lake. They use the clothing either for women who need assistance or sell them in their resale shop to raise money.

I took all of mine to a women and children's shelter. I also brought alot of the baby clothes, bottles, toys and other items we no longer needed. They even take diapers and formula. I am also sending them my nursing bras, maternity/nursing pajamas, unused breast leakage pads, etc. They will take everything. They pass it on to women and children in need. And we get the tax deduction!

I didn't want to deal with eBay. Another idea is freecycle.org. You can offer them up and someone will contact you about picking them up from your house at a date and time that work for you, for free.
