Hello Mom, what can you guys tell me about Mary Kay. I wanna use it cuz I have really bad skin problems! I'm 29yrs old but I look at least 35 or maybe even older! I had a Baby 3 months ago & I still have those nasty dark spots on my face & well my pores are huge, I'm just tired so tired of my skin! I already went to the Dr to get a referred to a dermatologist, but my dr said those dark spots won't ever go away:(, not very nice, so I am thinking of trying Mary kay! So I would appreciated any advice on this one since you Momma's are so helpful all the time! Thank You so much:)

Why won't they go away? That doesn't sound right to me.

There's MANY different options like bleaching cream and micro dermabrasion. Both have done WONDERS on my skin and I'm 43!

I'd see another dermo.

I have found Mary Kay to be greasy but it's worth a try if you haven't yet. Also try Bare Minerals. It's great. I have a friend that had her face "resufaced." I know it sounds barbaric but she looks great. She had a lot of acne scars, pits and blotches. Now her skin is sooooo smooth and the color is very even. I think it's also called microderm abrasion or laser abrasion. A lot of after baby skin problems are just that. Wait a year for all your hormones to level out before you get too excited.

i use the Mary Kay Night Time Extra Emoilient cream and love it!!!

I can't use their facial cleansing cream as it makes my face turn red...weird...
love their shampoo and conditioner as well...

the spots are from hormones...they will fade.

The astringent that Mary Kay has may help your pores, don't know for sure..

I am not familiar with Mary Kay products but I have heard they are good so I have nothing bad to say about them at all.

I am an avid Clinique user, since I was about 11. I am 49 and pass for early 30's. I love the products. They do have a creme, about $50 but last a long time that helps with any spotting.

I am of Native American heritage and I am prone to the spots and I have had a couple here and there and this product does help with fading them.

I also use the entire line of Repairwear, Youth Surge, eye creme and laser focus.

Get into a good cleansing routine and be faithful about it. That is one thing my mom always taught me and I have passed to my daughter. My mom is 60 and looks like she is early 50's if that helps. She too uses a lot of Clinique.

There are some great products out there and hopefully you can find what is right for your skin.

I have used Mary Kay since my 21st birthday. It was a gift to myself. I'm 44 now. People think I am at least 10 years younger. Not sure if it is the MK or good genes.:) But, I love it. I have extremely sensitive skin, and it is the only thing I have found that I can use. Everything else I have tried really hurts my skin. Oh, and no, I don't sell it. I have no interest in that. I love my consultant, and am happy to support her.

I LOVE Mary Kay. It definitely does do what is says it will do. My mom had people commenting on how much younger she looked after using it for less than 6 months, and my skin has ZERO wrinkles (I have been using it for over 6 years now).

Mary Kay is also constantly re-working their products, so anyone who hasn't tried it in the past 2 years is missing out, because things are even better now! If you go to their website, you should be able to find a consultant near you who can help you out. I cannot say enough good things about Mary Kay!!!

Arbonne has an entire line developed for this. Though I am a District Manager for Arbonne, I would NEVER share this information with you if I didn't not personally affect me, and if it did not work. It does, and I have passed it on to my mother and godmother (in addition to others, but I wanted to make sure it worked on all skin types and we each have VERY different skin types!). Let me know if you are interested in trying it out, or you can just go to www.arbonne.com . Good Luck, I know how you feel, believe me!!

Those spots are caused by hormones. I would think they would fade with time.
Mary Kay is a good company. I think their skin products are ok and basically do what they say. Pure mineral makeup I think is better for your skin.
The products I use give results in days rather than months, though.
