Ok, so I needed to login on my home Mac. I hit 'login' and was directed to a new page with nothing but advertisements - A FULL PAGE OF ADS - and NO place to login. I had to click on the Q&A tab which opened the login screen. Has anyone else had this problem?

Nope. Just the new tab "thing" - which I do NOT like.
The log-in problem? I would contact MP directly and tell them what's going on.
There was a Marc on here earlier or yesterday answering questions about this change. He gave his e-mail address as ____@____.com so try that!!
Okay, I just logged out and logged back in - no issues there for me. I also emailed the CEO, Marc regarding our issues with the site over the past 24-48ish hours, in addition to PMing CathyK - the woman who started the thread about "improvements" who is assisting per our PM's. I urged the CEO to naviagate this site as a member would answering multiple questions and helping out where ever and reading many posts to feel our plight. I logged in just fine this time, but during that process opened up tab after tab just to get back here!
So, thus far I have contacted CathyK, who is contacting operations - (added info about this post too) and emailed the CEO, Marc... let's see what happens.
I also gave Marc the link to our "improvements" post showing him changes that would be welcomed to the site - it will be interesting to see what he does with it.

Yes, have heard the feedback and working to update the Q&A tab soonest. Part of the change is about improving performance and keeping us up to date on security / protection of the community members. Please expect a change within a day or two.

I have had no log in issues with any of my devices. I have no access to a mac at work so I can't help you there.
Have you tried clicking on the response notification and see if you get the log in screen that way? Or wait till you have a PM cause that always gives me the log in screen regardless of the device.
the new tab issue is driving me nuts!
It's a new format. Once you log in by clicking Questions and Answers you should not have a new tab each time. I don't. I only have the initial one when I first go to the questions.
Then I right click on each question and pick open in new tab. I close that tab when I an finished with that question. But even then, if I click Questions and Answers I do not get a new tab.
Haven't had that problem.
BUT the PROBLEM, since yesterday, is that when hitting the "questions and answer," it opens up another tab.
SAME issues as yesterday and someone posted a question about this, yesterday.
It is STILL happening.
It is not my browser.
And it only happens with the MamaPedia website.

There should not be any problems with login. Please contact customer services if there is a continuing issues. We are working to have the 'questions and answers' tab not open a new window but nothing should have changed with login.

That happened to me one time. Don't know what caused it but it resolved itself!
