I always liked swimming pool parties as a kid. Call the local community pool for prices. All ya need is a cake. Easy and fun. Last about 1-2hrs. Good luck :)T.
p.s. Ask the pool if price includes a lifeguard.
My daughter is turning 5 in November. Because I now have an infant too, I don't want to have the party in my home (which I have done up until now), but also don't want to spend a lot of money. Due to the weather, will likely not be able to have it outside. I can't seem to find anything for under $200. Any ideas for indoor birthday party settings that are not as expensive? Thanks!

Have you heard of the Children's Museum in Everett? Or the Place in kirkland that has those inflatable jumpers? Not sure of the name, but you could google it. The Little Gym is also a fun party place. And you can't forget about rainbow play systems, they have all the playgrounds inside great for parties. Good luck deciding :)
I recently went to my 3 year old nieces party @ Little Gym and it was great! My sister said it wasn't that expensive, she brought the cup cakes, and there were attendants that led the kids through activities.
Since I am not sure how many people you will have in your party, and the number of adults and children, I am not sure how you want the cost to go. Anyway, I can list the options that I am going through right now for my 4 yr old's upcoming party.
1.Imagine Children's Museum - Everett
2.Childrens Musem in Seattle
3.Pump it up - Kirkland and Lynwood
4.A bunch of paint your own ceramics places in U-district, Bellevue, Redmond- (minimum $120, 2 hr parties) Let me know if you need more information about that.
5.Hall rentals in King county, namely Redmond (starting at 30$ an hour).
6. Rainforest Cafe in Southcenter, Tukwila.
Let me know if you need more!
How many kids are you thinking of inviting?
For the past 2 years we've had out 5 year old's birthday party at the Family Fun Center in Tukwila. We've rented a table and did the pizza and stuff, with 2 other kids and it was around $100.
the really neat thing is the Kidopolis, which was included in the 'per kid' thing and they spent most of their time in there.
Good luck
Chuck E Cheese is a gret place to have a party, You can buy there party package or just bring your own supplies (plate, napkins, tableclthes) and cake and get there early and grab a few tables. Weve did this in the past, and its lots of fun!!
