6 week body makeover is great and not as expensive as many programs. It has both a very healthy eating plan and easy effective work out program.
i am trying to lose 20 pounds by my birthday in july and i wanted suggestion as far as working out and eating healthy. I do work out about 4 times a week about 30 minutes. I am also going to start walking in the morning, if possible.any thing else i can do?

For working out:
- Walking 3-5 miles a day or more
- Sit up / Stand up straight... the vast majority of calories burned in a day are actually used keeping us from being puddles on the floor.
- Watch a movie... no, seriously.. but don't sit down, do this:
1) Take a broomstick & twist off the brush -or et a long pvc pipe-
2) Rest it on your shoulders, behind your head
3) Rest your arms on the broomstick. -this should be easy/comfortable feeling, but the broomstick DOES make your posture perfect-
4) Twist like a helicopter...left, right left right left right
You can move your head, or keep it in place. Just twist left and right, VERY lazily, relaxed, not a lot of effort, and do it for the next 30 min-2 hours (I DID say, grab a flick, didn't I?)
...... This exercise will NOT build muscles. It DOES tighten your interior abdominal muscles (sorry, not the one's that give you a six pack). By doing this, a few thousand times a day for a few weeks....your interior abdominals hold your organs more in place. And this typically translates to 2-4 inches off of your waistline. It's the twisting and perfect posture and LACK of arm movement that does it. If you're moving your arms (like punching) you work on different muscles. Hence the broom stick. Posture + Relaxed Arms.
- Do pushups on your bathroom counter every time you wash your hands. You're at such a steep incline that it's no sweat. Make it as easy as possible, and you'll always do it. The angle, btw, is hellloooooo sexy little triceps.
- Drink lots of water.
- EITHER eat a lot (like small amounts 5 times per day), OR on a very exact schedule (6-12-6) type. Either method ramps up a person's metabolism, that food is abundant... and therefore it's okay to get a little loosey/goosey with holding onto every calorie. IE, your metabolism becomes inefficient. Which is what you want when losing weight.
- DO NOT starve yourself. This also means, DO NOT leave the table hungry. These are fantastic tricks for people trying to gain weight, because it slows the metabolism down to a crawl.
- Eat food you love. Enjoy your food & enjoy your exercise. If you're hating either, it's time to change something.

The classes are really fun, high energy, and for beginners and professionals alike! Sensei Jesse teaches the class, and he is AMAZING! Plus they are only 45 minutes and there is a class or two everyday...you can go to as many or as few as you like, or as your schedule allows ; )

If you are serious about losing 2.5 pounds a week safely, you may want to do what I'm doing. I've lost 144 pounds with lots more to go but had plateaued and started to regain. I try not to eat after 8:00 at night or the earlier the better. Cut out carbs this helps too.

Exercise is fine and necessary. But without cleansing (in my opinion) you will NOT keep it off.
