I have not tried it yet, but my SIL swears by the magic eraser made for bathrooms. I've seen her bathroom before and after...big difference!
Hi Ladies...
I am actually taking a break from cleaning the grout in my bathroom tile. The product I am using is working BUT it is a lot of strenuous work! I have to scrub very hard for the dirt to come off and it's a pretty large bathroom. I love that I am burning calories by all the work, but I've had enough. I am thinking about doing the rest tomorrow but I really don't want to stop now because tomorrow will come and go and the floor might not get finished:-)
So... If you have a minute, please tell me what product you use that really works and without SO much scrubbing! I have to run a few errands later so I could stop at the store and buy the product. Oh... it's been "forever" since the grout has been cleaned and I want to finally do it and hopefully finish today.
Thanks so much for helping me out!

From one mom to another.... thanks for your quick responses! I am heading out to the library with the kids and on my way back, I'll be stopping at the store to purchase some of these products!
THANKS AGAIN!

I know this is gonna sound weird, but seriously use Lysol Power Toilet Bowl Cling Gel. Yeah its for toilets, but if you pour some on the grout lines, it turns them white again. It also does wonders for tubs. Just put the gel on the grout/tub/etc and let it sit for about 5 mins or so and wipe off. Works every time.
Sounds like your grout may need to be sealed? It really shouldn't be that hard to keep clean. Next time you are at a home improvement store you should look into it. I think it may save you a ton of time. I worked in the tile department for some time and a lot of people didn't know you are suppose to seal it, so that may be the case or it could have worn off. Do you know what kind of grout was used?
Vinegar..I know It sounds funny...but it's always worked for me.
Yes it will smell kinda funny for a little bit.
Um take some vinegar and put it on your grout. Let it sit for a few min then wipe it down with a hot & soapy sponge.
I neglected the grout for, well, I don't even know how long, and it was bad.
I bought Soft Scrub with bleach, and "drew" lines of SS down the lines of grout (if that makes sense). Left it on over night. Rinsed the next day, and the grout was sparkly again.
The bathroom did smell pretty strongly of bleach, but it was worth it in this case.
I'm in love with magic eraser sponges. They are incredible.
Tilex Mildew remover... Spray it on.. Rinse do it again.. You really should not have to scrub at all.. Make sure to ventilate the room.. Open a window and get out of there as fast as possible..
I also love their Tilex Soap Scum remover.. same thing.. spray it rinse and do it again as you need. You might need to wipe it down but usually no scrubbing..
Soft Scrub with bleach and a tooth brush :)
