I heard that chiropractors can help with chronic ear infections. I am in search of one who either specializes in children or is very familiar with them. I would prefer to stay in the Allen, Mckinney and Plano areas and I also need one who will take insurance. Thanks!!!

Chiropractors can definitely help with chronic ear infections! I am a Chiropractor in the Plano area and I work with children with ear infections on a regular basis. When the top vertebrae is out in the neck, it will not allow the ears to drain properly. By adjusting the areas that are out of place, it will allow the ears to drain properly and will strenghten the immune system. My 4yr old and my husband uses Graves Family Chiropractic in Frisco. I have a referral card for new patients that includes: consultation, exam, e-rays (2 views) and a 15 minute massage for $47. 95% of ear infections are a food intolerance. Dr. Shepherd can order a test that will identify the offending foods....Dr. Chalmers may do that testing, not sure. I went to Shepherd for that. My son has been going to Dr. Rob Brady of Brady Chiropractic in Plano since he was 11 mos. old. He is now almost 3 and has not had an ear infection since starting treatment.
