Hi E., my son goes to La Mirada Friends Christian Preschool in La Mirada. He has been going there since he was 2 years old. I like it a lot. The teachers are really nice and the facility is good too. It's worth checking it out. The number is ###-###-####. They are very reasonable also. Good luck!

My daughter went to preschool at First United Methodist Church Nursery School. They are a developmental school that have a wonderful staff. They are small but my daughter loved her experience there. Check it out. ###-###-#### and the directors name is Sue. Good luck
My son just started kindergarten but before that he went to La Habra Child Care Center in La Habra for a year and a half. Both my son and I enjoyed the school very much. The teachers and staff there were very loving and caring people. The class sizes were 8 to a teacher so there was a lot of time spent with each child. The prices I found were also very reasonable. I hope you at least give them a call

if there is a Tutor Time around, I have many teacher friends who take their kids there and love it! I know there is one in the YL area, but that might be too far.

I just enrolled my 4 yo in another preschool and she started today. It is in La Mirada. La Mirada Friends Christian Preschool. After 2 different preschools she previously attended and another look around the facility, I finally felt really good about putting her there. The Christian based school and all the curriculum they have and the obviously caring atmosphere made me feel comfortable. They are located on La Mirada Blvd just north of Imperial Hwy. Good luck! E.

I would recommend that you check out Broadoaks Children's School at Whittier College. My two sons have attended there (one begins his second year of preschool next week) and we have loved it. My oldest even did Kinder at Broadoaks and I have nothing but good to say about it. Check it out.
