Strongly recommend Willow Bend Pediatrics at Windhaven/Tollway.
Three doctors; one male - senior physician, Dr Michael Frank. Two women with small kids - both are great. Dr. Kimberly Mehendale and Dr. Susan Sickler.

I am looking for a pediatric doctor in Plano/Frisco area. I am currently at North Dallas Pediatrics and I would like someone with a smaller practice. Does anybody know anything about Dr. McDonald who is in practice with Dr. Katz (in Plano)?

I really don't know about the 2 doctors you asked about, however I have a 5yr old and 18 month old and they both see Dr. Kathleen Stokes at Frisco Pediatrics. The office is a very small office but she is so nice and thorough. The other doctor Rekha Sivadasan is great too! It's right on the corner of Gary Burns (spur 33) and Preston Rd. and their phone # is ###-###-####. Hope this helps a little.

I am with Dr. Katz. I have girlfriends who take their kids to Dr. McDonald and love him.
Windhaven Pediatrics located within Presbyterian Hospital of Plano is wonderful. We went through one other bad one before finding them and they are a blessing. My 9 1/2 month old son is a patient of Dr. Monica Herrera and we love her! He has also on occasion seen the other 2 docs in the office, Dr. Han and Dr. Kim and we would recommend any of them. You can look at their website, but they are working on it so it's not really complete. They are in the process of updating and adding Dr. Kim because he is fairly new. Good luck!
I go to Dr. Katz, but have had to see Dr. McDonald on occasion for my two boys. He is very personable and from what I've seen, a very good dr. He is older than Dr. Katz but seems to be up on the latest treatments.
I love Dr. Katz, and he is the ped. that several of my dr's send their kids to. I cannot imagine Dr. Katz partnering up with a dr. who is substandard in any way!
Dr. Burton in McKinney at ALl About Children is unbelievable. His entire staff is awesome. I know lots of moms who use him and the only complaint I have heard (and experienced) is the appointment is alwys late, but I guess that is all doctors.
Dr. Katz is my children's Dr. and I like him alot! We have seen Dr. McDonald quite a few times also for sick visits. He is also a good Dr. Dr. M. is older and has I believe 3 children and Dr. K. is younger and has 2 kids.
I am a new mom (I have a 7 week old) and I see Dr. Katz. I have seen McDonald as well. So far I am very happy with the practice. I have been able to see a dr or nurse practioner within the same day of calling on more than one occasion. I also receive call backs within 2 hours.
Both Dr.s McDonald and Katz have excellent reputations. But by no means do they have a small practice. That's the main reason I stopped going to Dr. Katz. His unavailablity and approach was the other. Their office is like a maze and each time we went we saw the nurse practitioner. I bet I saw 30-35 staff members besides the doctors. Those good reputations attract a lot of new patients. I go to Dr. Seth Kaplan in Frisco ###-###-####. He's got a small practice and is very involved with all his patients. Good luck!
We have been with Dr. McDonald for almost 7 years and have been very pleased. In my experience, we have always been able to be seen by either Dr. McDonald or Dr. Katz if we have an illness on the same day we call (call first thing in the morning if you can). My children don't mind going to the Dr. at all. We haven't had any major issues, but he seems to be very competent and careful.
My friend goes to Dr Katz and she absolutely loves him.
I heard good things about Katz / McDonald. My children (7 and 3) see Dr. Daniel Myint in North Richardson. He has great bed side manners and the office is very efficiant.
