If you're willing to go to Meriden, the Helm group has offices in Midstate Medical Center and in Wallingford. Charles Helm and Thomas Helm also have an office in Cheshire, although I've never seen them. I see Dr. Marlene Waradzin in this group and have also seen Dr. Daniel Denehy and Dr. Jamie Fanning. Everyone I've seen has been great, and Midstate is a great place to give birth. Our first was born there in May, and we'll be back there for our second in June/July. ps. If you choose Dr. Fanning, he's very popular, but the wait times for visits are long -- 1 - 1 1/2 hours. With Dr. Waradzin, I'm often in and out in 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the reason for the visit.

I love my group in Cheshire, Obstetrics Gynecology & Infertility Group. They are located at 675 South Main St in Cheshire ###-###-####. They also have 4 other locations if needed. All of the docs and midwives are great. I had a great experience with my first child as well as with my current pregnancy. They are affiliated with Yale hospital. Very easy to get to and they have a Quest lab on location to make all the tests of pregnancy convenient. Check out their website www.ob-gyn-infertility.com. I've seen 4 out of the 7 MDs there and they are all great.

I have an excellent OB/GYN. His name is Dr John Kaczmarek. He belongs to a group called Specialists in Women's Healthcare in Waterbury. He works out of Waterbury Hospital (he delivered my daughter there). I'm not sure if he works out of any other hospitals. I was a little sceptical about going to a male gynecologist but he is great. The phone number is ###-###-####. The address is 134 Gradview Ave, Waterbury. Good luck.

C.,

I use Dr. Randall Kaump he is located on route 10 in Hamden, not far from the Cheshire line. I have been his patient for 20 years now and can not say enough good things about him; he supported me through a lot of health problems and then he gave me 2 more beautiful children when nobody else wanted to help me. I would be more than willing to talk to you about him if you want, send me an e-mail and we can make arrangements to talk and/or I can give you his phone number. Trust me this guy is top of the line, I am very picky about doctors and would not recommend someone I don't trust 200%.

Hugs,
T.
