I went to Delaware Valley OBGYN, on Princess Road in Lawrenceville, and I *LOVED* them. I actually switched to that practice from an OB in Philly at the beginning of my 3rd trimester on a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did. I chose to see the midwives because I wanted natural childbirth, and in the end when I decided to get an epidural anyway, they were very supportive of that decision. I ended up needing a c-section (my son wasn't doing so well on the monitors) and I think my midwife worked very well with the doctors to make sure my baby and I were safe, and that I wasn't disappointed with the experience. I highly, highly recommend Grace; she's the midwife who was with me for delivery, and she never left my side through labor and my surgery. I couldn't have asked for better support. And Dr. Ung did a fabulous job with the c-section; 10 months later, I can tell that my incision scar is going to be invisible.
The office itself is really well run, and I found that I *never* waited for very long. They were quick to respond to my phone calls and questions, and they were unfailingly friendly at every visit.
Plus, they deliver at University Medical Center at Princeton, and you can't beat that. (Really, you can't. I was originally supposed to deliver at Pennsylvania Hospital, but the facilities at Princeton left them in the dust.)
Anyway, Del Val is a big practice, and I've heard some people complain that it's a little impersonal, but that wasn't my experience at all. Call them, and see what you think. :-)
