I went to Delaware Valley OBGYN, on Princess Road in Lawrenceville, and I *LOVED* them. I actually switched to that practice from an OB in Philly at the beginning of my 3rd trimester on a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did. I chose to see the midwives because I wanted natural childbirth, and in the end when I decided to get an epidural anyway, they were very supportive of that decision. I ended up needing a c-section (my son wasn't doing so well on the monitors) and I think my midwife worked very well with the doctors to make sure my baby and I were safe, and that I wasn't disappointed with the experience. I highly, highly recommend Grace; she's the midwife who was with me for delivery, and she never left my side through labor and my surgery. I couldn't have asked for better support. And Dr. Ung did a fabulous job with the c-section; 10 months later, I can tell that my incision scar is going to be invisible.

The office itself is really well run, and I found that I *never* waited for very long. They were quick to respond to my phone calls and questions, and they were unfailingly friendly at every visit.

Plus, they deliver at University Medical Center at Princeton, and you can't beat that. (Really, you can't. I was originally supposed to deliver at Pennsylvania Hospital, but the facilities at Princeton left them in the dust.)

Anyway, Del Val is a big practice, and I've heard some people complain that it's a little impersonal, but that wasn't my experience at all. Call them, and see what you think. :-)

Hi there, I am a patient at Robert Wood Johnson in Hamilton, NJ. I had my first baby there and continue to see them for my Gyn. The only thing is I saw midwives, they are really kind and really attentive. I think they give you more time and attention than doctors. They are certified in all aspects of OB-GYN matters. I will leave you my email address and you can contact me for directions and referrals of midwives. ____@____.com everything works out and hope to hear from you soon.

Ya ____@____.com is great if you have the "right" insurance. Otherwise they're nasty and won't talk to you . They send you upstairs to the clinic where you wait three hours for your appointment. Got one at twelve? Don't expect to see anyone until three.

Oh, and don't think that the clinic get records from the hospital. I had my daughter there. I had a botched epidural which left me with a pseudo-meningitis and they discharged me with pain at 10/10. I was back a week later with a grand mal seizure from the pseudo-meningitis and spent a week in ICU and another two weeks in telemetry.

And you know what? The clinic "never knew".

But I hear the new maternity wing is nice.

And run from the name Roopali.

I agree with the other mom. Find someone who has privliges at Princeton Hospital.

If you want forther info you can email me at ____@____.com

Good luck!!

I use Delaware Valley OB/GYN in Lawrenceville on Princess Road. Large group with quite a few doctors and nurse midwives. They also have an office in Plainsboro. They use Princeton Hospital (great LDR rooms and nurses) and a hospital in Trenton (not sure which one). I have had 3 kids with the group and plan on using them for m 4th pregnancy.

Lawrence OB/GYN on Franklin Corner Road is excellent. They deliver at Capital Health Systems Mercer Campus, which is a high risk level 3 facility. You can choose to see either the midwives or the doctors. Their phone number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!

Just to add - I had most terrible experience at Princeton Medical Center with my first child, and a great experience with MIDWIVES (ONLY!!!) at RWJ ob-gyn. I love Pat. Cris is also great, Joanne not bad. I don't remember the name of the fourth one but I personally did not like her - not my cup of tea. Good luck!
