I made easy Cookie Monster cupcakes for my guys, but you could easily do the same thing in a full size cake. It may not fit with your theme since it's more of a cute and fuzzy monster, but shoot me a note if you want a picture . . .

As for games, you could always pin the nose on the monster . . .

Hi S.,

One that i really like and have yet to try is coloring some water black and blowing up rubber gloves to freeze, so they look like really hands but frozen. Make some orange fruit punch and let the hands float in it. Is that cool or what?
My son is turning two a day before halloween if we decide to have a party for him that is my first idea. Good luck with your party!

well my lil boy is turning one soon too and we are also doing monster theme. etsy was real helpful for ideas. We are gonna play pin the eye on the cylops. We will have monsters that i made with poster board with the face cut out so that people and kids can put there face in the whole for fun pictures. Michaels the craft store had tons of monster stuff from holloween on sale. We purchased a bag full of animated monsters from michaels that we attach toothpicks to that will decorate the cupcakes. The publix near us had big monsters they used for holloween and we asked if we could have them to decorate. I really suggesst etsy for ideas it really helped us. good luck!

Hi S.! I hope Im not to late & you already had the party...but I recently picked up the Pillsbury Halloween magazine @ WalMart with a lot of cute & nifty food ideas. It is a normal size mag, not the smaller one like Pillsbury puts out. It has cute mummy wrapped hot dogs on the front cover.

I was also gonna suggest Target. The monster stuff there is really cute! They have some things in the "dollar" section up front, pencils, notebooks, stuff like that.
