Jumping on the Pampered Chef bandwagon. I bought mine over 3 years ago and use it daily!! It's my favorite kitchen gadget!
Hi Mommies! I recently bought (from Williams-Sonoma) an Oxo Good-grips mandolin for slicing in the kitchen. I HATE it! It's dull and hard to use and difficult to clean! And upon trying to return it, the lady working at W-S told me they couldn't take it back because it was used. I am looking for an affordable (under $100) mandolin that is easy to use, SHARP, and simple to store. Does anyone have a mandolin that they LOVE?
I'm headed back to WS today to attempt to return it a second time. I have always had good customer service there in the past (other than the last time!) and I'm hoping to be able to finally return it today. It looks like most of you love the Pampered Chef mandolin- and I was just at a PC party two weeks ago!!!! Ugh! Wish I would've known this thing was horrible back then! Lol! I did call and order one from the lady that hosted the party, so I'm hoping dinner time will be a lot less frustrating when I get the new one! Thanks for all your suggestions!

I have returned used items to WS before -- definitely try again or contact customer service! Here's a link to their return policy: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/customer-service/return-po...
I agree - the Pampered Chef one has worked very well for me. I've mostly used it for potatoes and citrus fruit and it works great.
I also agree on the WS issue... call WS customer service, and call OXO customer service about returning the one you bought. I'm surprised the WS store would not accept it back - of COURSE it's used, that's how you know it's a terrible product!
The Pampered Chef mandoline is FANTASTIC!!!!!! The mandoline has 4 different stainless steel blades; V-shape for softer fruits & vegetables like tomato's, adjustable blade for thick & thin slicing, crinkle cut blade & a shredding blade. The blades are conveniently stored in a storage box that attaches to the mandoline. I can help you with purchasing one too! ###-###-####.

The one I like is a Benriner. My mother gave to me as a gift, so I don't know exactly how much it was. It doesn't come with a bowl, but it's very sharp.
I tried one like the OXO that didn't work. It wouldn't slice anything. I was able to return it to Bed/Bath/Beyond.
I use my Pampered Chef mandolin almost every day. I love it! It's very easy to clean......or I would never use it. :) I have had it for 7 years and it's still sharp!
I don't have one but lots of friends have the Pampered Chef Madolin Slicer for $59.50. I've been wanting one after trying it at a show. They usually have warranties on their products also
I agree.... I love my Pampered Chef mandolin! Definitely worth the money :)
The best one I bought was from Kroger!!! It was 19.99 and worth every penny!!! It cleans well, stores well and, chops well!!! Its white with green trim.(cant think of the name its been so long...and still using it!)
They still have them.
P.S. For what ts worth, Oxo stuff really stinks......
On regards to the one you bought, I would contact Williams Sonoma customer service department either by phone or email about getting your money back. Don't just not do anything about it, they should want to make their customer happy so you come back.
Costco Business store, $45.

I sell Pampered Chef and they make a wonderful Mandolin. There are to many wonderful features to list so I've added the link to the product page.

To make it even sweeter it is one of the host specials for July so if your interested in hosting a cooking or catalog show it would be one of the items that you could pick for 60% off. That would bring the cost to Only $23.80!
Anyway if your interested in it at all you can contact me at ____@____.com
Hope you find what your looking for!
