I sold my jewelry to Keifer Jewelers on SR 54. They separate it into 10K, 14K, and 18K and pay a differnt amount per gram for each. I sold mine for about $400! The check writer was out at the time but they did mail it to me. Totally legit!
I heard on the news about a service that does a gold buying party. The news station never mentioned there name. You invite your friends over and they bring there old gold and get cash for it. This is NOT a party that you come to and expect to buy products. If you know anything please pass on info. or maybe a reputable place that buys gold.
thanks.

Be careful, no one ever gives you what your gold is really worth. They give you about 40% of it value. Pawn shops give you even less. Jewelry stores give the 40%. If you don't need to part with it I would hang onto it because the price of gold is going to continue to go up as the economy fails.
Hi P.
I needed money, so I took a few items of broken gold I had been holding on to for a long time. A couple of bended rings two braclets, missing ear rings, just a few . I went to Capital Pawn on 2525 E Busch Blvd, ###-###-####, I got three hundred for them, if I've would have known this I've would have gone a lot sooner. Try it and if you do go ask for Stewart, he's really nice and works well with customers. good luck, R.
A friend of mine does the gold parties. Her name is Stacy Cerreta. Her number is ###-###-####.
If you decide to do a party, you earn 10% of whatever she pays out at your party! I love the idea of making money at a party instead of spending it!
Jan :)
There was an article about this in the Washington Post last week: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008...
Definitely a good idea, especially in this economy!
Good luck.
I haven't heard of the party but you can check out Jazz Jewlers - it's near Sheldon Rd. in New Tampa. If you type Jazz Jewlers into an online search box they come right up. Good luck!!
Not sure where you live, but there's a small jeweler next to the Eastlake Publix who buys gold. I was satisfied with what they bought it for when I was getting rid of some old stuff.
