Hi Sarah,
I am in the antique business, and we (antique dealers) will sometimes buy jewelry. You could try going to some antique shops.
hi guys
what are the best places to sell jewelries? I’ve tried some pawn shops but their offer is so cheap that i don't want to deal with them. thanks
Hi Sarah,

Try Ebay, it's a great place to sell and you can put a reserve on it. Just make sure you mark it so the only payment you will take is PayPal to be really safe.
You could also try Craig's List.....
There are also a couple of places in Brandon that buy jewerly. Watch the Flyer there are people in there also that purchase jewerly at good prices...
What every you do, DO NOT, allow anyone to meet you at your home or give them your home address... This is an open invitation to getting robbed......Also don't give them your home phone number...
try www.golddoesgood.com i'm hosting my first gold party this week, and from what i've been told, you can make really good money with your old gold jewelry!
try the gold stores... call around and ask them their price they PAY on gold/silver/etc
If it is gold you can do well by selling to Jackie at Charles Jewelers in Tampa Palms. She even holds gold parties at your house for your friends to sell their jewelry too, and you make a percentage! :) Can't beat that! Good luck.
I actually just did this and got a lot!!! more than i expected. What you need to do is, if you have a jewler that you have used for a while go in and talk to them. If not call around to local jewlery stores and ask if they can help you. I have been using my jewler for about 15 years and he did this for me but said that he typically wont do it for people he dosent know. He sent my stuff off to the refinary and they paid scrap weight. There is also a place in lakewood ranch that pays penny weight. See if you can find a place that will weigh it while you are there and give you an idea what the gram weight is. Then do some checking online to find out what the current scrap weight for gold is. Good Luck.
Have you tried craigs list? Here is the website, and I have found it to be wonderful in selling just about anything. http://tampa.craigslist.org/ There is also e-bay, but there are a lot of costs involved. Good Luck!
I rather prefer pawn shops san francisco through online market, which rather provide best deals and profitable aspects for any kind of selling options for my jewelry, I surveyed it they provide best rest in the country, or you may check this link for the further details- http://www.sanfranciscoprovident.com/jewelry-buyer-san-fr...
Thanks,

I just read in this weeks paper. There's a Gem & jewelry place inside Sears that buys gold and jewelry. They'll give you a free estimate on what they'll pay. I haven't tried it yet, but I will as soon as I get a free minute to run down there. It's been there a while. In Countryside Mall Sears.
