you should check out eaton canyon, which i think is actually in altadena. my husband and i walked there when i was pregnant and we saw lots of parents with babies in strollers. good luck!
I am looking for hiking trails in the Pasadena area. Ideally a fire road would be nice (or something similar) as I could then use my BOB stroller, but really any trails would be nice. I'm looking to get out and get some exercise and finally try to get this baby weight off!

There are some trails in the Eaton Canyon area, which is right to the north of Pasadena/Altadena, at Altadena Dr. above New York Ave.
Also the Arroyo Seco to the west is good for some walking.
there's a nice hike right behing jpl...starts off as a paved road, then goes into a dirt trail. you can also try the area behind descanso gardens (my sis hikes there all the time & loves it!)
The Gabrielino Trail is probably perfect for you! There are a lot of people with kids and strollers. Exit the 210 freeway at Windsor and Arroyo. Go north. (You'll be turning onto Windsor.) Keep driving to the end of Windsor. You'll see a small parking lot on your left. You will be starting out on a paved road which eventually becomes dirt. Don't worry about the sign at the beginning that says, "trail closed." There is a bridge out about two miles in, but you can cross the stream to get around it if you are going that far.
