their is a running / bike trail almost the full length of Tramway running north to south from Montgomery to Central.
Hi,
Does anyone know of any public running tracks besides the bosque river trail? I would like to run with my son in my jogging stroller. Thanks

Hi Stephanie,
Yes, there is a nice running trail you can use your jogging stroller that runs next to Tramway Blvd. (East side) I believe it starts around Central or Lomas and goes North of Montgomery. People roller blade, walk, run, take baby strollers, etc. It is a nice trail. I have not used it but I have seen many people on it.

Hey Stephanie
There are biking trails that can also be used for the jog stroller at the base of Sandia Mountain- the Ellena Gallegos trail has one and I believe there are others that interconnect. There's a 5K loop (dirt path) up off of Wyoming and Academy in town. Hope this helps- the only advice for the base of the mountain is make sure you have the slime in your tires- goat heads and cacti.

The Tramway trail goes WAY north of Montgomery - I know there is sidewalk all the way to The County Line, but the actual trail may only go to Paseo, but YES - it's a nice paved trail. A lot of bikers bike Tramway leaving the trail to the "pedestrians".
Yep! Tramway has a wide paved sidewalk which runs north and south which is exclusive to bikers, runners, walkers, joggers, roller bladders...it's nice, paved and smooth. Very well maintained. Very busy in the early morning and then again in the evening before sundown.
