Hi moms and moms to be -

I currently live very close to Fox Valley mall and will be looking for daycare around that area the middle of next year. I am not due until May 12, so right now I am guestimating that I will need daycare starting in July. I know it may be early to start looking, but I have noticed so far that this pregnancy is really flying by, so I would like to start doing research on what daycare centers you moms would recommend. I am also interested in seeking any stay at home moms who might be interested as well. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for all your help and Happy Holiday's!

Hi J. --

Check out Adventures in Learning. They are near the mall at 758 Shoreline Drive in Aurora (just south of Route 34 and Frontenac road). Their number is ###-###-####. My son is 2 1/2 and has been there full time since the age of 15 months. My husband and I visited several centers, and Adventures in Learning was by far our favorite. The staff is great and there is little turnover, the center is clean, and my son's days are structured and full of activities. We're VERY happy having him there.

Hi Jaime-

I am currently looking into getting licensed to start an inhome daycare early next year. I live in Aurora off of McCoy and Kautz. I have two daughters a 1 month old and a 3 3/4 year old. My oldest daughter attends preschool at the Fox Valley Park District-Eola Center. I work full-time for Dupage County however the cost of daycare for me is one paycheck. So I have been thinking of staying home.

Jaime-

My son also goes to Adventures in learning on Shoreline. I love it and so does my son. He is 3 y/o old and is really getting a lot out of his days at "school" They have such a structured day and the teachers are wonderful! I would highly recommend AIL!

Hi J., you are doing the right thing by seeking daycare options early!! I have been a childcare provider since 1996 and starting in January, the calls come flooding in. The slots fill up quickly!! I dont know if Bolingbrook would be to much of hike for you, but I have an opening for an infant. If you are interested, you may call me at ###-###-####, or e-mail me.

Thank you and good luck with your daycare search!
