Hello C.,
Well, I recently had gotten that Playskool Busy Ball Popper for my 19 month old son. He really loves it. It plays music while the balls travel through the tube and shoot out and keep going around like that, or your child can put the balls through themself. Even my 4 year old daughter loves playing with it :)Their eyes just light up when it starts going. Hope that helped. A.

My kids have always loved the Little people series that one can find at almost any store. My one daughter has been a girly girl and enjoys dolls and things. It is also fun to give something simple like a ball and of course books.

Have fun shopping!

I really like www.fisher-price.com for ideas for our 18 month old. She is really getting into the pretending and imagining things so I thought a little play kitchen would be perfect. They have one on the site that starts out smaller for when they are little and it raises up to another level when they get older. I like the idea that a toy can last longer than a couple of months. Besides, who didn't like playing in the kitchen when they were little. I hope this helps.

One idea you might think of is Discovery Toys. I am an educational consultant for Discovery Toys. They are educational toys for children from birth to elementary and even some for adults. We believe that children learn best when they're having fun. I even buy them for my own son. We also do parties where you could earn free toys based on the amount of sales at the party. It's perfect for christmas. You can email me if you want more information or check out my website. Please let me know if I can be of more assistance.

Hi C.,

My kids really enjoy the leapfrog toys. They are very educational. They are along the same lines as the Discovery toys that the lady mentioned earlier. My son learned how to read with leapfrog before he turned 5. I would highly recommend LeapFrog.

Play hats, purses, shoes, cellphones, neclaces Anything like that. She may be to young for the actual dress up dresses. Also doll stollers mine just loved pushing anything and everything around in the strollers or shopping carts. Wooden blocks are good as well. Board books are nice because they hold up a little better than reguler books. Oh and I love the color wonder markers and paper, it's really worth the extra money to not have to wash crayon and marker off of walls and furniture.
