Looking for Excellent Daycare for My 16 Month Old Daughter!

Hello, I have been staying at home with my daughter since she was born, but now I have started interviewing for a job, and I need to find a good daycare that is affordable. I am having some anxiety about putting her in daycare, but really I think she will enjoy the interaction. It doesn't really matter if it is a home daycare, a center or a church daycare, just as long as it is a really good one. Any advice from other moms in or around Broken Arrow, OK would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

My job is screening children in Tulsa County at daycare centers. I know of some good MDO's: St. Benedicts, Discovery Learning Center at First United Methodist in BA. A great home daycare is run by a lady named Angela Rogers, I don't have her number handy, but if you are interested, please email me and let me know....

Hi Brooke,

I know exactly how you feel. My son is 5 months old now, but he had to start "school" (I didn't want to admit it was daycare) at 8 weeks old. I looked all over Broken Arrow and Tulsa and had actually decided upon a super-posh place in Tulsa when I drove past RHEMA Bible college and saw they the had a day care program.

They made me feel so comfortalbe (I was pregnant at the time) and welcome it was incredible. It looked clean and friendly and smelled good (not dirty like other facilities I had seen and smelled), and the people and teachers were so nice.

My son has been going to school there since he was 8 weeks old and I don't have any complaints at all. They call me when he isn't feeling well and I can call as many times a day to check up on him.

One of the other special things about RHEMA is that you know that the teachers love your child. THey don't just work there, they truly love what they do and the children they nurture.

If you want to give them a call thier number is ###-###-####.

Happy Campers Academy is a great daycare. They are also internet monitored so you can watch your baby all day so you won't have any anxieties about leaving her with anyone.

The Learning Center at the Church at Battle Creek is awesome! My 3 year old and 5 year old have gone there this past summer, as well as my 3 year old this fall! They absolutely love it - the staff is friendly and caring. Also, to help ease the pressure of having to return to working, have you ever considered working from home? I've found an awesome company that I work with and still get paid and I'm able to stay at home...if you're interested, please feel free to look at my website and fill out the GET MORE INFO form...www.healthyhome4family.com

I have two kids age 4 and 2 and they both go to hope learning Center. I have been really pleased with them and they are pretty affordable. My son has been there since he was 16 weeks old. I really liked the infant teacher! he still goes by to say hi to her!
