I have heard Canyon Creek preschool in Plano is highly academic for the 3 year olds.
I am looking for a preschool in the Plano area that have a good education curriculum and preferably one that will not cost an arm and a leg. I am also looking for one that provides an all day curriculum, since I work from time to time as a Consultant. My son, who is almost 3yrs old, is currently at A+ Prep and appears to be getting bored there. Although the teachers at that school all give loving care, I think they are not challenging my son enough. He has known his ABCs since 20 months and is now learning to read (I try to provide home schooling whenever I can). I originally put him in school to develop his social skills (very shy), but now feel he needs more since I will be working more and won't be able to give as much homeschooling as before.
I am not just looking for a daycare, but a private school that my son could go to for many years to come. It can also be a religious school, but one that doesn't require the parent/family to be affiliated with the religion. We're not Christian or Catholic, but I would hate to have my son miss out on a really good school because of that reason. Any advice will be most appreciated!
Thank you all for your suggestions. My son's school decided to bump him to the next level (preschool), so we will be monitoring his progress for the next month or two. If it still looks like he is not progressing, we will be putting him in Merryhill in Plano...the best option with no wait list. In the meantime, we are on the wait list for Carpe Diem...which, we were told will likely not open up until Aug 07.

Primrose School of Forest Creek is a wonderful school that sounds like would meet all of your needs. The phone number is ###-###-####. You should at least go take a tour of the campus
Canyon Creek is in Richardson (unless there's another one??), but I was talking to another mom just yesterday who was raving about it. Although she did say that it doesn't seem to be as good once the kids hit 2nd grade.
